Garage Guest list – Managed by METPARTIES every Saturday!

Bangers & Mash are venturing to Highbury, to launch their Saturday nights at the newly refurbished, Garage from 24th October 2009. Having defined the North London scene in the Mid 90’s, the Garage is back, bigger (quite literally at 850 capacity) and better than ever. NME describe it as "Best sounding venue in London" and they have already hosted shows for Bloc Party, Kasabian and Ian Brown. Bangers & Mash promise to follow suit, with The Subways confirmed to Dj at the launch on the 24th October, with New Young Pony Club on the 31st. following with Eddy Temple Morris (Xfm’s The Remix) on the 7th November then The Mystery Jets (14th), The Rakes (21st) & The Pipettes Live (28th).

Sounds-wise, expect anything from the 50’s through to the freshest upfront music of today - policy is anything Indie, Rock ‘N’ Roll and Electronica to Hiphop, Funk, Ska and Motown with residents Emily Rawson, James Theaker (NME) and Jimmy Napes. Weekly guest bands from the music world will spin tracks, together with live performances by hotly tipped bands for the future. Expect free Props, Live Caricature and Face Art, Games & A photo booth. Rokit Vintage Stores will also be in the house giving away some fancies and entertaining.

One of the new features of the refurbishment is a spectacular mini bar. True Romance will look after the party in here, where they will host some of London’s most exciting DJs including, Eliza Doolittle, The Baker, Bip Ling, Golden Grillz and The Kids. Sounds in here are anything Old Skool Hiphop, Funk, Swing, Motown and Soul as well as live performance art.

Times: 10pm- 4am
